I feel bad for the suffering experienced by Afghanis as a direct result of the ground shaking. All the other suffering that comes from having allowed a bunch of fanatical religious buffoons to run the country and manage the response to this disaster..not so much.

Thinking about how fucking horrible it must be to simply try and exist as a regular Afghan citizen. I don’t know if I want to know the death toll so far. Whoever manages to survive is going to have to endure a very cold, very hungry winter. Is there any positivity in the future for Afghanistan? Heartbreaking.
